Thursday 19 March 2015, over 1300 dinners will be offered at restaurants spread over the 5 continents, to celebrate French gastronomy by inviting the public to share a "French dinner". In each participating restaurant, the event will pay tribute to a living kitchen, open and innovative, while remaining true to its values : sharing, pleasure, respect of eating well and the planet.

Already, this first edition of Taste / Good France was a success with a mobilization that exceeds forecasts. Taste / Good France is organized at the initiative of Alain Ducasse and the Department of

Foreign Affairs and International Development.

Participation of four restaurants in Madagascar

A Madagascar, four leaders decided to take part in this culinary adventure :

* La Table des Hautes Terres (Palissandre, Faravohitra) : Arison chef Tojo
* Côté Saveurs (Androhibe) : chef Danielle Ravelomanana
* Fence (Tana Water Front) : chef Franck Rasolomalala
* Café de la Gare (Soarano) : Chef Nicolas Milliot

They will propose, in their establishment, a special menu "Taste / Good France "for the evening of 19 March 2015.

Chef Home, Jean-Michel Torino

The Embassy of France is also pleased to welcome during the week "Taste of France / Good France "star chef Jean Michel Torino, Owner Vauchoux Castle in Franche-Comté. He will be in charge of dinner 19 March at the Residence of France and also lead a workshop for children in French schools during this week with several other leaders.
